ST. ANDREW'S LUTHERAN CHURCH |
Meet Our Pastor Rev. Edward W. Ebersole Jr. has served as the pastor to the people of St. Andrew’s since July 2003.
Pastor Ebersole, with his family, wife Katy and son John relocated from the mountains of western Pennsylvania,
where he served two small rural churches. This was Pastor’s first call after graduation from the “Lutheran
Theological Seminary- Gettysburg,” with a Master of Divinity Degree. Pastor Ebersole served his first parish located
about an hour east of Pittsburg for about four years.
Just prior to his call to St. Andrew’s Pastor Ebersole served for about a year as an interim pastor for Evangelical
Lutheran, of Duncansville, Pa. at the request of the Bishop. At Duncansville Pastor used both his pastoral and his
managerial skills to reorganize and revitalize the congregation in preparation for calling a new permanent pastor.
Of his experience Pastor Ebersole says; “It was an exciting and dynamic year in my ministry filled with opportunities
to connect the right people with the right ministries while bringing God’s words of healing to a people who were
suffering from a traumatic experience in the life of the parish.”
Pastor Ebersole and his family answered the call of God to enter ministry while they were living in No. California
near Sacramento. Pastor had a number of years working in both the private sector, and for the Federal Government.
He brings a wealth of various life and work experiences that graciously informs and influences his pastoral care
and his preaching. We invite you to be our guest this Sunday, or on any Sunday for that matter to meet Pastor Ebersole, his family, and the entire family of St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church. |
